Let's Puzzle: Denmark's Circular Puzzling Community

Hi there! This is Tamás and Alex, and we would like to thank you for visiting our site. We are two guys who met in Copenhagen while starting a completely new chapter in our lives. We connected immediately and started developing what would become a great friendship and business partnership.

Let’s Puzzle is our first project together and results from a perfect mix between ambition, curiosity, and personal growth. We wanted to create something together: a tool or service that would bring value to people’s lives with a touch of our personality. We believe that puzzles represent that bit: they’re fun, entertaining, and bring people closer together. We are very excited to make all of you part of this humble idea.

Redefining the Puzzle Lifecycle: Our Mission

At Let’s Puzzle, we believe that the traditional way of enjoying hobbies needs an upgrade. Most high-quality jigsaw puzzles are treated as "linear" products: they are manufactured, shipped across the world, assembled once, and then spend the next decade collecting dust on a shelf or ending up in a landfill.

From Linear Waste to Circular Joy

We are part of the Circular Economy movement in Denmark. Our model is built on the principle of "Product as a Service." Instead of owning a box that takes up space, our community shares access to a premium library of puzzles.

The environmental impact of one Let's Puzzle rental vs. buying new:

  • Reduced Manufacturing Demand: A single puzzle in our collection can be enjoyed by up to 20 different households, potentially saving 19 new puzzles from being manufactured.
  • Lower Carbon Footprint: By shipping locally within Denmark and using a "return-loop" system, we drastically reduce the CO2 emissions associated with international toy logistics.
  • Zero-Waste Packaging: We prioritize durable, reusable shipping materials and accessories, ensuring that the only thing you're left with is the satisfaction of a finished image, not a pile of plastic shrink-wrap and cardboard waste.

The Let's Puzzle Quality Standard: Our 5-Step Guarantee

We know that the biggest concern with renting a puzzle is the fear of a missing piece or a "used" feel. To ensure every rental feels like a brand-new experience, we have developed a rigorous quality control process in our Copenhagen HQ.

  1. Manual Piece Verification: Every puzzle returned to us is checked for completeness. We use a combination of weight-matching and manual inspection to ensure the next puzzler doesn't get stuck with an incomplete puzzle.
  2. Debris Removal: We know puzzles are often assembled on dining tables or floors. We manually inspect and clear every box of dust, hair, or debris.
  3. Box & Image Maintenance: The original artwork is the map to your success. We ensure all boxes and posters are clean, sturdy, and easy to read.
  4. Hygienic Handling: Our inspection process is conducted in a clean, pet-free environment to maintain the highest hygiene standards for our community.
  5. The Feedback Loop: Every package includes a quality-check sheet. If a piece is ever damaged or missing, our community reports it immediately so we can pull that puzzle from the library for repair or replacement.

Meet the Founders

About Tamás

Originally from Hódmezővásárhely, Hungary, Tamás moved to Denmark in 2018 to pursue a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). After graduating, he fell in love with life in Copenhagen and chose to build his career here as a professional engineer.

Tamás’s engineering mindset: focused on precision, details, and systems, is the backbone of Let’s Puzzle’s operations. The initial spark for the business came from his mother, a passionate puzzler who often felt guilty spending money on beautiful sets that would simply sit on a shelf after a single use. Tamás realized that by applying engineering logic to a circular rental model, he could solve this problem for thousands of other households.

About Alex

Originally from Barcelona, Spain, Alex moved to Denmark in 2020 to pursue a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Design & Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). Like his close friend and co-founder Tamás, Alex found Copenhagen to be the perfect environment to start a professional career and, eventually, a family.

Alex's discipline and execution work as an engine in the backstage that makes sure that everything is moving forward. For Alex, Let’s Puzzle is also a personal mission for mental well-being. With a 'hyperactive brain' that is constantly in motion, he found that the combination of the Danish sauna culture and the focus of a 500-piece puzzle was the ultimate way to achieve digital detox and mental clarity. While he admits he isn't the fastest puzzler, he is certainly the calmest. He believes that in a fast-paced world, the goal isn't to finish the puzzle quickly, but to enjoy the meditative journey of every piece clicking into place.
